Catherine Campbell

I like this image because it has one eye attracting element, it has colour.

I like the style used to create this image, it reminds me of the style of a Geisha.

Evaluation

My research came from http://www.indesignrecruitment.co.uk/page3/page31/page31.html
and Google, I started by looking at templates on google images and then on Indesign Recruitment.

From my research I have learnt about proportion, scale and diversity when i first started working on photoshop i didnt understand how important proprtion was. I've also learnt that i can create a template from many aspects and taking bits and bobs out of images and creating a masterpiece.

the basic idea for this project that I had in mind was a simple but elegant template, i wanted it to be girly and mature, i think i have achieved this look so im happy with the result.

i didnt really have a plan to tackle this project, i didnt find it as easy as it should have been especially because i dont have photo shop at home.

-

i played around with many of the techiniques like editing the image but for my final result i stuck with cutting out the image.

the changes i made from my original idea were that rather than using a photograph i used a still image from a fashion show and starting working with it. i did this because i didnt like the effect of a photagraphed image, i preferred it to be from the internet were it would be airbrushed and look near to perfection.

-

i think the strenghts in my final design are that it meets the brief for my theme. It's strong and i stand by it.

i think the weakness in my final design is the use of colour, i wish i could have gone into a depth of colour but i had to stay with grey's.

if i did this type of project again i would do many things differently, first of all i would be much more accurate with time management, aslo i think a greater depth of research would have helped.

Templates

I chose this as one of my top 10 illustrations because its very feminine and i love the colours, also i love the scale of the image how her body is very stick like but her coat is very big and bold.

i love this template.
It's very strong and eyecaching, and although the colours are bold, you can still see every detail that has been interpretted in the image.
I also like the structure of it, it reminds me of the medievel time and i think it's beautiful and vibrant.

the first thing i realised about this template is that you can not see the legs and face, but the picture is full.
I like the boldness of coat and the subtle colours, still it's very feminine.

I like this template because it emphasises the human structure, i like the way the legs are very tall but they don't make the image wierd.
I also like the way they have added colour, instead of it being bold and full, it looks almost watery and light, i like the effect it's given.

i really like this template because i love the detail that has gone in to the clothing, it's very specific on how the garment should look on the body, from what i can see the main focus is on the coats and in one of the images theyre is a little blue, although the colours are very limited, the blue is a perfect touch.

Emanuel Ungaro

I love this design by Emanuel Ungaro, it inspires me because i love the flow of this garment, it is beautiful and lively and it emphasises the structure of the models figure.

Templates

i really love this image, it's curvy and feminine and very young, it's representing the younger generation, too me it looks part like and fun, i love the colours used and again its another template where the focus is on the garment, as you can see, she doesnt have a face.

this template is one of my favorites, i love how full the image is and the colours are carefully picked out, it looks kind of 20'sm indpired with the large coat slick back hair and colourful dress, alot of detail has gone in to the template and it looks beautiful.
